The Evidence
Reminiscence therapy is one of the most widely used and well-evidenced non-pharmacological interventions in dementia care. Structured engagement with personal memories and imagery has been shown to reduce agitation, improve mood, and create meaningful moments of connection even in later stage dementia.
Our approach to reminiscence therapy takes those established foundations a step further — bringing the photographs themselves gently to life in a way that static imagery alone cannot.
Responsible development
We are seeking clinical specialists to guide the development of this approach, and no patient-facing work will begin until a clinical advisor is in place. Patient safety and wellbeing are at the centre of everything we do.
